Feeling the Pressure

Winnie Cooper has screamed profanities at me every day this week. Something about her tire pressure being low? I don’t know. When it gets below a certain temperature, I refuse to pay attention.

But knowing I have to head back to work today (yay!), and that I’ll need to be on the parkway, I went to fill up her tires in the cold. I stopped at Sheetz and noticed three cars waiting to fill their tires. No bueno. So I went to another Sheetz and that one had a line of four cars in front of me. I was running out of time, so I waited. And waited. And waited.

Eventually, I had my turn with the nozzle, and I filled ‘er up… or so I thought. But when I got back in my car and turned her back on, the warning indicator still flashed at me. I know I filled the tires up to the correct psi, and I did all four tires, so I don’t know what the deal is now.

All I know is that I have to leave for work, she’s still screaming at me, and I need to hop on the parkway. Fingers crossed I make it to work and back home with both Winnie and me in one piece.
