Coffee Soda

I recently purchased a cocktail shaker for at home, but ironically, the first time I used it (today) was for non-alcoholic purposes. I’d made some cold-brew coffee overnight, and I was anxious to do something different with it this morning. So instead of filling my glass with half milk/half coffee, I mixed the following: ~3 oz milk, ~6 oz coffee, ~.5-1 oz cream, and ~.5 tsp stevia. I put those all into the shaker with two ice cubes and shook it like crazy to get everything aerated and foamy. Once it was well-mixed, I poured it into my glass and then topped it with ~4 oz soda water. It made such an awesome, refreshing morning drink that I went back and made another. It’s been a highly-caffeinated day. 🙂

But really, if you want to try something new with your coffee, I highly recommend adding some soda water to it to mix things up a bit (pun intended). 🙂
