One of my friends who got married recently brought in leftover wedding cake today, and she conned me into taking some. There were two kinds – red velvet and mango coconut. Despite my protests that I didn’t need any cake, she convinced me to take a little of both. The red velvet was okay, but I’m not big on red velvet in general. One sniff of the mango, though, and I felt like I was on vacation – it smelled like suntan lotion, but in a good way. When I bit into it, I told her, “It tastes like my mouth is getting a tan!” She liked that, and said she’d tell the baker about my feedback. 🙂
