Nevermind the Christmas-themed mini M&Ms in this picture (I can never seem to finish a bag, so I have a bunch of “orphan” bags in my fridge), but I made some edible raw cookie dough last night and I’ve been going nuts over it. The secret ingredient I used to replace the eggs? Kahlua. Yep, boozy cookie dough. I highly recommend this method of making raw dough, except I must impart a word of caution – if you’re using a sugary alcohol (such as Kahlua, Frangelico, Amaretto, etc.), it’s probably in your best interest to cut back a little on the sugar used in the recipe. This batch is a little too sugary for my tastebuds, but I still guarantee I won’t have any problem finishing it off.
Hey, I needed some way to balance out all the healthy stuff I’ve been eating lately! 🙂
