Taco Riding The NOPEcoaster

Taco Riding The NOPEcoaster

These two furballs are too darn funny.

Tank would be perfectly content to be attached at the hip to Taco – he follows him everywhere and basically wants to be Taco. Taco, on the other hand, enjoyed his brief time as a solo dog and while we’re certain he loves Tank, he would probably be A-OK if Tank went on an extended vacation without him. He tries his darnedest to break free from him when Tank gets too clingy (which is ALL THE TIME), but he rarely succeeds.

Case in point, this morning. Taco was blissed-out on his back on the couch – legs spread-eagle, stretched out completely, and with the entire couch to himself. Tank was snoozing on the floor until someone walked by and woke him up, at which point he realized his big brother wasn’t right beside him. So Tank, thinking he’d do Taco a favor and go lie down on the couch but at a respectable distance away, heaved his chubby body onto the other side of the couch. Immediately, Taco’s expression said “NOPE” and he rode that nopecoaster all the way down to the floor. This picture was taken the moment he realized he was no longer alone on the couch and saw that his dark shadow had followed him. Tank, for what it’s worth, is giving Taco the side-eye because he had just heaved ho to get up onto the couch and the fact that Taco was getting off the couch meant that Tank would now have to get back off the couch in order to follow Taco around. Nevermind the fact that Taco clearly wanted to be alone; Tank clearly wanted company and the little baby always gets his way. 😉

Here’s hoping your holiday, like mine, was filled with people (or dogs) who love you enough to want to follow you around incessantly and drive you crazy. 🙂
