Boots With The Fur

Boots With The Fur

It snowed last night, and for once, I wasn’t deathly afraid of my morning commute. This was our first decent amount of snow this season – I think I got probably around 4-5 inches at my place. Normally I’d be skittish about driving to the park & ride, but with my new bus route, getting to work was no sweat.

I did get to wear my new boots for the first time, though. I bought these puppies at Costco months ago, preparing for a lot of snowy chaos this winter, and it’s barely snowed at all. It seems the best way to wish for no snow or rain is to buy gear that protects against them, as I learned this summer when I bought my sweet minion-esque rain jacket. Same with the snow – if you buy awesome snow boots, there will be minimal snow. I need to remember this for the future.

As for today, I got some nice compliments on the boots, and they kept my feet nice and toasty. The only downside is that Flo Rida’s Low is stuck in my head; the phrase “boots with the fur” is playing in a never-ending loop. That particular earworm has infected my coworkers as well, and now it’s probably in your head.

You’re welcome. 🙂

Luckily, I have no clue what that song is…and based on your description of “earwig”…I will not be googling/youtubing it!
